City Council directly budgets money for parks, road, water, and encourages business and housing growth.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the spring schedule for elections:<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, May 09, 2009 &#8212; Joint General and Special Elections<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <a title=\"county resources for registration\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofpflugerville.com\/index.asp?NID=1047\" target=\"_blank\">Voter Registration<\/a> Deadline: Thursday, April 09, 2009<\/li>\n<li> Begin Accepting Applications to Vote by Mail: Tuesday, March 10, 2009<\/li>\n<li> Final Day to Accept Applications to Vote by Mail: Friday, May 01, 2009<\/li>\n<li> Early In Person Voting Begins: <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Monday, April 27, 2009<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li> Early In Person Voting Ends:<strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\"> Tuesday, May 05, 2009<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"moz-text-html\" lang=\"x-western\">\n<h2><span style=\"color: #008000;\">PfCONA Candidate Forum &#8211; Monday, April 13th, 7 PM<\/span><\/h2>\n<div><!--more-->Despite the economic slowdown, the City of Pflugerville will continue to be a very busy place with continued to commercial development, road construction and the development of a new city plan.\u00a0 Your city council will make many of the final decisions regarding city government activities and two of these council places will be elected in May.<\/div>\n<div>The Pflugerville Council of Neighborhood Associations is hosting a City Council Candidate Forum on <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Monday, April 13th at 7:00 pm<\/strong><\/span> at the Pflugerville Justice Center (<span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>1611 East Pfennig Lane, just south of Wal-Mart<\/strong><\/span>).<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">All three candidates will be attending.\u00a0 Initial questions will be asked by the moderator, but a significant amount of time will be devoted to questions from the audience.
